How to play

Flip the Prince is a simple logic and strategy turn-based browser game for 2-4 players.

castle

The start

Each player has 8 cards and 3-5 pieces (depending on the number of players) of his color. A game board is built out of all players' cards at the beginning of the game randomly.

Your pieces start on your Castle. It is always in a corner.

7

The goal

Your goal is to flip all your cards, one by one starting with card 1 and ending with card 7, your Prince. Whoever flips his Prince, first, wins the game.

You may only flip a card if your piece is standing on it.

The animated guide

Move a piece, one a turn, to an adjacent card. There can be only one piece on each card except Castle card.

A piece cannot move to an opponent's Castle and a flipped card.
Moving a piece to a card of your color occupied with opponent's piece will capture that piece and return it to its Castle.
A piece standing on a non-Castle card of your color adjacent to an opponent's piece can jump the piece to an unoccupied unflipped non-Castle card.

The jumped piece is captured and returns to its Castle.
Prior to moving a piece you may flip a card if it’s your lowest unflipped and your piece stands on it. Then you move the piece.

If your pieces stand on more of your lowest unflipped cards you may flip them all at once and then move with all the pieces.
Prior to flipping a card you may swap any two cards in the game field except Castles and locked cards.

Your piece of your choice is removed from the game permanently.

You may choose to lock one of the swapped cards to prevent it being swapped later.
